Can I use a Free Zoom account or Zoom Webinar to stream on PublicInput?

Which versions of Zoom are supported for streaming to PublicInput

To stream a Zoom meeting for a PublicInput-managed teleconference, the Zoom account being used must be a paid account: Pro, Business, Education or Enterprise. A free Zoom account will not work. This article from Zoom offers more detail on this.

Please note also that Zoom Webinar is specifically not supported for streaming on PublicInput.

There are 2 things to check for determining whether you are running Zoom Webinar:

  1. Are Panelists are mentioned anywhere in the Zoom settings?

  2. Are 2 links listed in the Zoom meeting's Event Information - one for panelists and one for attendees?

Both of the above are exclusive to Zoom Webinar.
