Please note: Per accessibility best practices, we recommend your .pdf documents be under 10MB. We support popular embedded PDF viewing tools like SlideShare, and recommend PDF’s larger than 10MB be hosted in SlideShare or a similar platform. 10 MB is also our image size limit.

If you prefer to link directly to a document in text within a content box and do not wish to display documents in a Documents Section, click the article below:

Step 1: Add a Document Section

Click the Add Other drop-down menu at the top of the Project Questions and Dynamic Content area, then select Documents Section:

This will create a Documents Section at the end of your project, (if it's a multi-step project, the box will be added to the step that is selected.) You can drag and drop this box anywhere in your survey so that participants can view related documents.

Step 2: Upload Documents

To upload documents that will be visible in this newly added Document Section, scroll all the way to the bottom of your survey project, where you will see a Documents box:

  1. Click the green Add documents button.

  2. Locate the document(s) you want to upload from your computer & click the blue Start upload button.

  3. You can also Drag & Drop your file(s) into the gray box at the bottom.
Note: Start upload will upload all documents in the box, while the blue Start button to the right of your document will only upload that document individually.

You will see the green progress bar with your upload speed (shown in the green circle above.) The upload speed is dependent on your internet speed.

Once your documents have fully uploaded, you can view them by clicking View Live Site in the top right corner of your survey page.

In the Documents box, you can click the file name, which will open the document in a new browser window, and can be downloaded by participants.
