This article will help Administrators to submit a formal request for:

"Masking" the default PublicInput link (such as "PublicInput.com/1234" or "PublicInput.com/yourorganization") with a custom URL/domain your organization owns, or is planning to buy. This is most commonly used for Public Portals.

PublicInput assigns a toll-free phone number to all accounts. A local number can be purchased at an additional cost.

Pin-free numbers do not require participants type in an additional 4-digit meeting code to listen to a meeting.

NOTE: Pin-free lines (or numbers) can only be directed to one meeting at a time, meaning they do not work for multiple or simultaneous meetings. The pin-free line can be directed to another meeting after the first meeting has past.

If you are a PublicInput user, please reach out to your department head or the Administrators responsible for the account to request approval before filling out the formal request form. All request forms are sent directly to the PublicInput Product & Engineering Team.

SSL Certificates

Question

Answer

Q: Can you tell us what format you need it in? DER or PEM? How do you need it packaged? Bundled or Extracted?

A: We need the SSL certificate to be created in the PEM format. Bundled (zip file) or extracted (individual files) work, but Bundled is best as it keeps all the files in one place.

Q: What files do you need?

A: We need the .pfx file along with its password when the file was created. If a .pfx file is not possible to send, please send us the .crt and .key files and we will generate the .pfx file.

This will be requested after you first fill out a domain request form.

New or additional phone lines

Question

Answer

Q. What if our organization needs a local phone number?

A. You can fill out the phone line request form to purchase a local phone number, in addition to or instead of the toll-free 855 number.

Q. How much does an additional phone line cost?

A. Additional numbers can be added at rates of $45/month or $450 annually.*

Q. Do we need additional numbers different departments?

A. No, you're whole organization can use the same phone number.
Each project will have it's own custom 4-digit code, which means multiple simultaneous meetings can be held on the same phone line. Participants will be prompted to type in the meeting code to be directed to the appropriate meeting.

Q. Can we pick the area code for local numbers?

A. Yes, if there are multiple area codes and the area code of your choosing has available numbers for purchase.

*Please note the phone line request form will reflect the most up-to-date cost.
