Importing contact information from your agency is a great way to stay organized and close the feedback loop with constituents. Public Input provides you a simple way to add all your project-specific contacts to the Lists section of your Email & Text toolkit.ย

Click Email & Text on the left-hand menu, click Lists in the menu bar at the top of the page.ย

Click the green Create New List button in the top right corner.

Select the appropriate department from the top drop-down menu, then name your list and click Create List.

Scroll down to the list you just created and click the blue Actions button.
Choose Import Contacts.

๐Ÿ‘‰Note: You can also click the edit or add subscriber buttons to add just a single participant OR to upload multiple contacts.

Select the appropriate file from your computer and click the green Upload List button. It's important to make sure the column names in your file match the column names in Public Input: Email, Phone, First Name, etc. You don't have to have all the columns, but the names must match for those columns you do have.

Click your list to see the contacts that have been uploaded. If you need to add more subscribers to the list, you can click the Add Subscribers button in the upper right-hand corner.ย
