You may see public comments or conversations about your Public Input project on social media. If you've authenticated your Facebook account, you can automatically bring in those comments to Public Input.

You can also manually bring comments or posts made on other social media sites in to your Public Input project. Here's how:

Click the Social tab on the project admin side of your project.

Scroll to the Manually include a public post as a comment section. Here, you'll enter information about the source of the comment or post, the web address, the user name, and the text of the comment itself.

Click the drop-down menu to select your Post Source. Your options are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Nextdoor.

Copy and paste the web address of the post into the Post URL box.

Add information about specific commenter or poster. This will change based on your post source: You'll enter either the Facebook page or username, Instagram or Twitter handle, or Nextdoor user name.

Copy and paste the text of the comment in to the Post Text box, then click the green + Capture Post button.

Social comments will appear on your social tab.
