Some projects are meant for a limited audience, even when published. Whether you’re in the review phase, working with sensitive content, or just want to keep a low profile, you now have the option to hide your project from search engines like Google.

What Does This Setting Do?

Enabling "Prevent search engine indexing" adds a special tag to your project page that tells search engines not to include it in search results.

Even if the project is published and visible to anyone with the link, this setting helps keep it off Google and other search engines.

Where to Find It

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab of your project.

  2. At the top of the Settings tab, locate the list of toggle switches.

  3. Turn on “Prevent search engine indexing”.

Note: This setting only affects how search engines treat your project. It doesn't make the project private or limit who can view it if they have the link.

When Should You Use It

  • Projects in a staging or internal review phase

  • Projects with sensitive or time-limited information

  • Projects intended for specific stakeholders only

This setting gives you an extra layer of control over your project’s visibility, without needing to unpublish it.
